Movies, Movies, Movies
When going to the movies you always want to see the right movie, because you don't want to waste your money/ time on a movie you will end up not liking. If you plan to take a fun day out with the kids, you may be faced with the dilemma of seeing either Kung Fo Panda or Judy Moody and the NOT Bummer Summer. Critics did not take a like to the Judy Moody movie. they said that kids could have got the same entertainment for a cable network TV show, so going to see that movie would be pointless and a waste of money. Although Kung Fu Panda movie is the sequel to the original many believe sequels ruin the originals, but in this case many liked this movie. The action packed scenes and character depiction made the movie rather entertaining and enjoyable for people of all ages. So when planning your next trip to the movies, I highly recommend seeing Kung Fu Panda. A must see for the summer!! (:

Experience of a Lifetime!
AMAZING. That is one word that can't even fully describe the trip i just took to Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. I spent a fabulous week at the lovely resort Gran Melia where my days and nights were never dull. This resort if perfect for either a family vacation, honey moon, or even just a trip to get away from everything and enjoy some personal time. Gran Melia has a countless activities for you and even the children! Enjoy a relaxing day at the spa, while the kids go to the kids club, play board games, or enjoy some sports. For the lovers there are dance classes where they teach salsa and merengue, there are also nights bars, and lounges to enjoy a lovely night out. When it comes to the food, its delicious, nothing like american food. Pasion, by chef Myrta is known to be the BEST puertorican food around. The food taste like it is homemade. While on vacation there me and my family went sight seeing.
From going from a tropical place, to more of a fast pace place for a vacation really set us back. When staying in a country you are not familiar in is hard. But when a trip to Tokyo Japan was taken, staying in Anu Hotel Narita, made the stay very welcoming and fun.The only tough part was the time change, but it made the trip that much more interesting! Anu Narita is very modern and the service is very warm and friendly! Although you need to pay in advance and book your stay just to guarantee your stay! While in Japan you learn and embrace their different foods and culture. A great little restaurant that is highly recommended is Tempura Fukushima. The food is very tasteful and they get fresh vegetables and seafood everyday. One dish tried there that was rather good was Kobashira-kakiage (small scallops) and Vegetables,Salad and Dessert. The dish was rather good, it wasn't made like how it is made back i n the United Sates. One Its fun to try and get away and learn about the different things around the world. There are many attractions to go visit. If you have the family you can take a visit to the Science Museum where the kids will enjoy many activities to do. A vacation is a special time, so don't do any plain boring thing, make it special and go somewhere outstanding and different.

Mouthwatering food in the best restaurant: Elenas
Going to Elenas will be not only be a fun evening to dine out, but a delicious treat. They have the best Spanish food around. Out of all places to go ,Elenas is by far the best with an inviting atmosphere, friendly people, and not only fresh but delicious food.
All time favorite dish that is always served the same, DELICIOUS, every time is Arroz con Bitec y maldudos ( rice, steak and plantains.)
The steak is well seasoned to perfection along side of a plate of arro con habichuelas( rice and beans )
Rice is also very appetizing. It is not over cooked nor undercooked, just to the right consistency with the tender deans mixed in.
Other delicious dishes to try:

Love.
You ever love some one so much, it hurts? You would give them your all and in the end it still isn't enough. You question yourself constantly about what you are doing wrong, but in the end the truth is, it's not what you are doing wrong, it's what the other isn't appreciating. Trying and trying to fix something over and over again that most likely not even meant to be fixed the first time. Life throws crazy things at you, its your decision whether to move on or let it slide. In the end your blinded by love. You look past the faults on focus on the amazing. AT the time everything is perfect and all you want to do is live in the moment. Words tend to be said that take your breath away, and all you can do smile and embrace every word that is said. But, how much of what is said is true? Are all the words lies? "No matter the distance, I will always love you and you are my world." What happened to those promises? what happened to those words said that made me feel as though you were the one? Everyone tends to fall for the same lies, hoping that in the end its the truth and every word said was deep from the heart.
Maybe the words were the truth...at the time. The only question that lyes is, What changed? I will always be there for you but theres so much my heart can take. I thought i could have spent my life with you. You were there through the amazings moments and the most troubling obsticles that most people turned their backs on me on. How can you throw something like that away? So many questions but not ONE is ever answered. That, that is what kills me the most.

Stereotypes.
You know what really gets on my nerves? When all throughout high school people go "oh that girl is a pop she had sex with this person and that person blah blah" but when a guy goes and has sex with multiple girls hes "the man" "he got game" "hes this, hes that" but never called nothing half as bad as what girls are. Since when is it okay for guys to go around and do that but its wrong for girls? Don't get me wrong though people shouldn't be doing that anyway ( especially since we are in high school. ) Even this, if girls are gay "oh that's so hot", "Owww" but if a guy is gay, its "Ew thats nasty, don't come near me". That is wrong in so many ways. everyone is entitled to what they prefer and discriminating is WRONG. HELLOOO PEOPLEEEEE !! We are in the 21st century grow up and learn that everyones decisions are what they want, and live with it. Everyone is entitled to their opinions but a certain you need to know where to draw the line. Its time that everyone grows up because once we leave high school we are faced with the real world and there may be things in the real world we don't like but like most MATURE adults we suck it up and move on.
Choices.
When you make choices for you and your partner are they always the right one? Do you just go along with decisions made to make that person happy? Are you happy with those decisions made? These questions often come up when i sit back and look at the world. I sit back and look at others relationships and listen to peoples problems and can't help but ask them these questions. I often see that people make certain decisions just to make their partner happy. Doing that never help the situation because later on in the road will you eventually regret it. In life you never want to regret anything. Another thing that pops in my mind is that if you make decisions you don't like just for your partner, is that considered lying? Going with the flow? No one wants part of a relationship. It's either all or nothing. I'm sure if you give your honest opinion to your partner they would respect you more for being honest and truthful rather then lying. Lying causes consequences, some that might even take the worst toll. At the time it may seem right to say what would make them happy, but it won't in the end. So for those who just say things to make that special person happy, DON'T DO IT ANYMORE. NEVER be afraid to speak your mind. You are who you are and if your partner does not like that then they aren't meant for you because down the road you will find that special person who likes you for you. So speak up (;

Liars.
One thing i cant NOT stand is liars. To all my readers out there, i know you know what I's talking about. I am pretty sure almost 100% of you all agree with me. Where to begin on this subject....Why lie? What is the point of it? I would rather be upset knowing the truth, then being even more aggravated/upset/pissed off knowing that you lied. Trying to cover up something makes no sense, in the end people always found out the truth, whether its later on in the day, week, or even month. In the end the truth always finds its way out. Lying never solves anything. If, for those who lie, can get away with it, i hope karma hits you. Karma is the sweetest revenge. In all honesty nothing upsets me more then someone lying straight dead to my face even when i give you the chance to tell me the truth ( because i already know the truth). Honesty is one thing that could kill a relationship. What is a relationship without trust? Trust is the foundation to every relationship. So if you ever mess up, or do something you know is really bad, tell the other person STRAIGHT UP rather then lying to them. Never be a coward face your own consequences you put on yourself, rather then lying about it in the first place. I am pretty sure the consequences for lying is going to be a lot worse then if you were straight up about the situation.
Mentidoso/a is what you are to me. A liar. and that disgusts me.
Mentidoso/a is what you are to me. A liar. and that disgusts me.

Song of the day- "If I Ain't Got you"- Alicia Keys
Lyrics-
"If I Ain't Got You"
Some people live for the fortune
Some people live just for the fame
Some people live for the power, yeah
Some people live just to play the game
Some people think that the physical things
Define what's within
And I've been there before
But that life's a bore
So full of the superficial
[Chorus:]
Some people want it all
But I don't want nothing at all
If it ain't you baby
If I ain't got you baby
Some people want diamond rings
Some just want everything
But everything means nothing
If I ain't got you, Yeah
Some people search for a fountain
That promises forever young
Some people need three dozen roses
And that's the only way to prove you love them
Hand me the world on a silver platter
And what good would it be
With no one to share
With no one who truly cares for me
[Chorus:]
Some people want it all
But I don't want nothing at all
If it ain't you baby
If I ain't got you baby
Some people want diamond rings
Some just want everything
But everything means nothing
If I ain't got you, you, you
Some people want it all
But I don't want nothing at all
If it ain't you baby
If I ain't got you baby
Some people want diamond rings
Some just want everything
But everything means nothing
If I ain't got you, yeah
[Outro:]
If I ain't got you with me baby
So nothing in this whole wide world don't mean a thing
If I ain't got you with me baby
Some people live for the fortune
Some people live just for the fame
Some people live for the power, yeah
Some people live just to play the game
Some people think that the physical things
Define what's within

Song Reflection-
Personally, this song means that not to take things for granted. Don't only base a relationship on certain characteristics or money. You should enjoy what you have for both the good and bad. Not everything is perfect nor will it always go your way. Being spoiled or pampered doesn't reflect how well someone treats you. Having money isn't the only love, it isn't something that can just keep you happy. Eventually you will will want to share that wealth and fortune with someone you car for. If you truly listen to the chorus you will see that "But I don't want nothing at all, If I ain't got you baby" Nothing will be worth the happiness without that special person. I would rather die with someone i love and share the world with them, rather then die lonely greedy and wealthy.

Mistakes
Do you ever have to think about something so much that it is always on your mind? You have to think of what is truly for the best for you? yet in the end , you end up making a decision that you regret. That is the story of my life for this month, and the month just began! Ladies, ever been stuck with the choice of twwo guys? One guy is so sweet and you have so much fun with him, but he has his flaws and tends to upset you once in awhile. You guys have been talking for awhile now and then all of a sudden things change? He goes MIA! Well that is what happened to me. I thought he was done, ended up moving on and now the old guy comes back saying he's sorry and he misses me..BLAH BLAH. What should i do??!? Well, i think that when ever someone is faced with this problem they should follow their heart. Don't think about the persons feelings because in the end someone is going to get hurt. If who you are with at the time makes you happy then go with that person. The other person, yeah, you guys had good times and get along but maybe..sometimes its better to be left alone rather then keep on trying. If it wasn't meant to be the first time then it probably will fall apart in the future. Don't get me wrong i completely understand that there was so many feelings and still are, but eventually they will go away. If you truly want to be with the other person then go back. Do what ever you feel will be the right decisions. Just as long as you don't live with any regrets. Life is too short to live with any regrets. Everything happens for a reason. I am a true believer in faith (:

Post-Mortem pictures of Osama
The decision President Obama made in choosing whether or not to posting of the post-Mortem pictures of Osama could be considered a very smart idea. He believes that any posting of the pictures could cause serious national security risk.
"It is important for us to make sure that very graphic photos of somebody who was shot in the head are not floating around as an incitement to additional violence, as a propaganda tool. That's not who we are," Mr Obama said.
In my opinion i feel as though i agree with the terms Obama came to. It will cause some serious conflict within the nation. Don't get me wrong though, i completely feel compassion for those who wish to see the pictures because they have such a deep personal hatred towards him for the terrible things he caused. Justice was served for the death of all the people he was the reason are dead now. For some reason though, i wouldn't want to have the pictures posted either, not only for the reasons Obama stated but because imagine if someone ou knew was killed, or past away, would you want their pictures all over the place? I know i hate seeing my dads death and pictures of the car accident all over the place. If these pictures get out people will do stupid things like post them everywhere as if it is sometime of worship that the terrible man is killed.

Osama bin ladins Death at last!
This morning i awake to outstanding news all over social networking sites. Osama bin Ladin was found in Pakistan and because he resisted arrest he was shot twice in the head. They put him to rest in the Arabian Sea. For those who don not know who Osama bin Ladin is, he was the leader of al Qaeda, and was believed to be the cause of September 11th. After many years of war, millions of dollars being spent, and thousands of lives being lost, justice has been paid and the death of Osama finally came to happen. A relief has been given to those families who suffered from 9/11. It is said to be believed that Al Qeada is not "dead", they are not over. In fact because of the death of their leader there is fear that actions will be taken in avenge of their leaders.
Personally, i feel very relieved that this terrible man that has caused so much trauma to many American lives was finally killed. I feel as though justice has been pad to those whose families were a victim of his actions.

Once again, CONFUSED!
Ladies and gentlemen, i am sure you have all been through what I am about to tell you. CONFUSED! No, not like school work confused, job wise confused, but relationship confused! So here is my dilemma: Ever begin to talk to someone and not really know where it's going to go? Then you begin to develop a lot of feelings for them, and nervous to know what you guys after you have been talking for almost two months? Then finally you develop the courage to ask and they tell you they don't want a relationship. -__- Yup, that is exactly what happened to me. ON TOP OF THAT!! One of my best friends friends likes me a lot. SO me and him talk as friends and i start to like him because he's really sweet and treats me how a girl should be treated. Problem is, i like the other jerk so much, i'm holding on to him for what reason, i do not know. So instead of me giving the advice today, i am in dire need of advice!
HELP! For my happiness what do i do? Put yourself in my shoes and try to see where i am coming from. Would you stick with someone that doesn't even want a relationship but you have already developed a lot of feelings for? Or the one who wants to make you his world and treat you how you should be treated?
It may seem like a dumb question! But you have to realize, we are in high school, what is it going to look like where everyone knows you are talking to this one kid, then all of a sudden begin to date another. You want to know what that is called? A POP! Which i most certainly am NOT! The last thing i want is for someone to start spreading rumors around. Although, you should not care what others to think.

Anger
Have you ever been so mad yo're like a ticking time bomb? That if someone says or does the wrong thing your ready to explode on them? That's how my week has been going. Deciding to be so upset at the world, and give everyone attitude has been my motive for the week. When i sit and think about it, is it truly worth being so mad and upset about. You know it takes more muscles to frown then to smile? So why stay so upset? I realize that people need to stop taking life for granted. They drink, smoke, yell argue, abuse the ones they love for the feelings they have bottled up inside. No one deserves to have another's anger taken out on them. That's why there is so much violence and the death rate increased. You only have one life to live so why waste it on being such a angered person? I feel like what ever is causing someone to do such terrible things should end everything, and cut that part out of their lives so they stop being so miserable and open their eyes to the greatness the world actually does have to offer. Even though there is war and criminals that is not the only thing out there. If you have a kid, embrace every thing about them. Cherish every moment you have with your loved ones because you never know if it could be your last. So rather then argue about the stupid little things solve it and MOVE ON. Honestly being upset at someone isn't worth it. So as I am giving you guys this advice, I should follow it too. Such as in highschool when teens fight over a girl friend or boy friend, or oweing someone money , or even talking "ish" about someone. IT TRULY ISNT WORTH IT> Move on and be happy.
Mother (:
Today is April 14th, 2011. Somtime ago this very day my mother was born (not going to say exactly how many years). So i decided to dedicate today's blog about her. Hmmm, what can i say about my mother. Well, to start off i have no idea what i would do with out her. She is the only person i have in this world. We have been through so much the last couple of years. She is one of the strongest people i know. Why? Simply because she took on the challenge of raising three kids, two teenagers and a newborn, by herself after going through a heart break of losing her beloved husband, my father. Even though that occured she still kept a smile on her face, and is raising us the best she can. She lets NO obsticles get in her way. SHe has the greatest personality, i don't know of any mother that gets along with their kids in the sense she odes with me and my brother. I know this blog may seem like i'm sucking up, but i truly am not, this all is coming from the heart. Don't get me wrong though all teenagers argue with their parents every now and then like me and her doo. But hey its a healthy thing too. Not every relationship is perfect.(: I pray and hope that my mother has many more healthy years ahead of her, because after all i need her to walk me down that isle when my time for marriage has come. Words can't describe how much i love my mom. I know i can be her "headache" every now and then but i'll gladly be that headache! She is the reason who am i today, and I thank her for bringing me into this world. <3 HAPPY BIRTHDAYY MA!

Mindless
I sit here, waiting..
wondering..if you are too
or am i in this alone?
are you just having your fun
then leave when bored?
Sorry to ruin it for you hun,
but that's not how it works
You may think i don't realize your game..
but i am not that mindless..
Its over baby boy
i am too good for you
and when i'm gone i hope you realize that to
you thought i was a fool
but i caught you in every thing you do
So watch me leave you life
bet you didn't realize i wanted to be the wife..
I walked out soon,
saving me from pain..
it hurts, it hurts that i simply..
fell in love with you.
But i fell in love with your lies
Two years of my life with you
but when in love time flies
i was mindless..
let you play your games till it hurt the most
Now i'm done
realize what you had boy...
because you will never find another like me..
and yet, i still love you

Violence in the World.
In today's papers, radio, and news shows you have some type of violence going on around the world. Not just between country to country , but life violence going on in your own neighborhood. It's crazy how many lives are lost over time, FOR THE STUPIDEST REASONS! One thing i really do not like is how a male from every family has to sign up to be drafted into the force. That is someone's son, brother, husband going into war for a random reason. The United States tend to get involved in other countries affairs. Don't get me wrong i understand the wish to help but how are able to help out other countries when ours is in need of help too, especially the economy. I don't understand how we pay / give money to help other countries who are in need of aid or assistance when we need it to. For example helping those in Africa who are sick and homeless. We have many homeless families in the United States living on the streets, in dyer need for food or shelter. It's not only adults though, there are many children suffering. Loss of parents, or who are terrible sick. We are able to go out and help the countries around us but what about our own people? I'm not a heartless person, i do feel for those who need aid but i feel as though we should show some effort in our own country.
Also the violence going on is terrible. This is why many children suffer, for being exposed to all the violent and terrible things around us. Teens fighting other teens. Forming gangs as a way of a "family". They gain control of weapons and feel a sense of power. People getting killed everyday because of all the HATE going on. In reality how much do you know about that person to hate them enough to kill, rape, or abuse? Is it worth taking someones life for your own special reasons. Then you have to face a jail sentence IF or WHEN they get caught. Is it worth throwing your life away for taking someone Else's? These are questions that constantly go throw my head when i read , or hear of such terrible things that are going on. Sometimes i wish people would think before they act. So many lives would be saved, and less tears in the world would be shed. One day, if possible, we can live in a less violent nation/world. My heart goes out to those with family members in the force and those who are enduring the hardships in Libya right now.

tough decisions...
Throughout life you are faced with many difficult decisions. No im not talking about "oh what color should we paint the living room??? " I mean like life changing decisions. Adults feel that us teenagers have life easy, that there really isn't much for us to have to worry about except for school. In all reality that isn't true. We are faced with many difficult choices that could change our lives. Like whether or not to try alcohol or drugs. We are faced with such peer pressure at times we don't make the right decisions. If we drink, we could do it at a dangerous rate, we could lose our lives, especially if we have to drive. Yeah, we should have the will power and knowledge to know doing something like that is the WRONG thing to do, but when you are with a group of friends and everyone is drinking you don't want to be the odd one out. When faced with the choice of smoking , everyone tries it once in a while, but being around those who do it all the time could face yuou with problems because saythe cops question you, you could be faced with some serious consequences. Smoking causes people to just give up on life. I know most students in my school smoke all the time and just don't try in school. The cut school to smoke. They even tr to gt their frineds to leave, but its your life and you need to take control.
Other scenarios us teens are face with is the most obvious one , SEX. We think that we are smart enough to know whether or not the decision of having sex is right or wrong. People think they are in "love " with someone and feel as though it is okay to have sex with them. Unless you know for a fact the person you want to have intercourse with is someone you see yourself with for awhile then maybe thats okay. But throughtout high school, we go from relationship to relationship. You don't love every person you are with. Then dealing with that , you are having intercourse with someone and then they believe it is a good idea to have sex with out any protection. Most commonly said " Don't worry I will pull out before... " Then next thing you know your pregnant. See decisions like that make our lives hard. I'm not saying our lives are terribly hard , i am just stating that it's not easy either. Imagine going through high school pregnant. Were is your youth life ? You have to worry about taking care of another human being. Question is, are you even able to take care of yourself? Are you doing the right thing for that child's life? I am tired of going to school and walking around seeing so many girls pregnant. You have choices. Don't fall for words. Think about your future. not trying to be mean at all, i commend those who are capable of taking care of another while going through it at such a young age. Good luck to those. Make good choices for yourself not for what others want you to do ....

Hardships faced in Japan..
Going through such a tragedy is extrememly hard. The people of Japan have lost more then just their homes. Most of the elderly are going through a lot. Many are sick and are in need of their medicine. All they are able to do is be there for one another. The elderly are more seceptable to disease. Many left with out shelter, food , water, electricity, ect. Many of the elderly depend on certain things for their survival, such as breathing machines, medines < foods. It's hard to get that back with such things occuring around them. Also, how at their age are they able rebuild their homes? It is very hard for them to do such a thing.
The rate of deaths in japan are over 18,000 and STILL rising. The costs of the damage down is estimated to be around 235 billion dollars. Not only did Japan face the natural disaster of the tsunami , but also a nuclear power plant explosion occurred leaving toxic radiation going around,Which is extremely dangerous.

Rumors
So this topic was bound to come up, after all this is a blog about teenage life and what’s teenage life without a little drama from rumors? Isn’t it annoying when your name gets bought up in others peoples’ mouth with FALSE information?!?! In high school all there is, is rumors. People spread stuff about others that they THINK is true when in reality it may not be, so by that person opening their mouth it ruins that persons life because of false information being spread. People think because they hear a story ( which may only be part of a story) they have the right to go around and tell people what they heard. Yet, no one goes and asks the person if it really is true, they automatically jump to the conclusion that if it’s being said then its true. Okay so some rumors may not be spread by only someone spreading half the story, but it also occurs with something called telephone. People may tell the true story, then someone goes and tries to tell the story but things get mixed up, then it goes on and on , until the story is completely wrong. No matter how rumors start, they are still NOT okay. People need to learn how to stay out of others business, if it was meant for the world to know then that person themselves would have told others.
Rumors make someones life hell, and can cause so many problems for them. To me, i feel as though rumors being spread is a form of bullying because in a way, it is affecting that persons life. It makes them either get mad, or extremely upset. There’s only so much a human can take or bare with before they crack either emotionally upset or with rage. By pushing someone to that limit can be very bad. I saw a video on worldstarhiphop.com of a kid who was bullied constantly untill one day he finally cracked and beat up the kid who was bullying him. No one deserves to be treated less then anyone else. Not one person is better than another.

Prayers going out to Japan.
It's crazy what's going on in the world. A terrible earthquake that reached M7.9 in Japan caused a terrible Tsunami covering the country. Many people losing loved ones and their homes. All devastated, praying for the best. My prayers go out to the families out there losing all their positions and loved ones.
Something to think about :
It's been floating around the thought of "the end of the world is near" because of all the natural disasters going on. Personally i do not believe in all of that the world is ending stuff, but recently with all the crime/ violence, and natural disasters happening..i am starting to be convinced this is happening. Look at this-
September 11th twin towers..
January 11th Haiti
March 11th Japan....this is all to coincidental
I know, you probably think i'm weird but hey, everyone has there own opinions. Hopefully with these terrible events going on around everyone will open there eyes and leave hate out of there hearts. Maybe, people will will stop with the UNNEEDED violence/drama/anything out of their lives and spend time with the ones they love and enjoy life. My modo is - "live life with out regrets or anything, because you only have one life to live and you never know when that life will be gone.. "

Bullying.
Can you imagine going to school everyday where your hated, constantly picked on, feeling unwanted? Students in this current time are going through that everyday. They are being bullied for various reasons. Whether its how they look, or dress, even if they are LGBT ( lesbian, gay, bisexual , or trans-gender). Bullying has many effects on these kids lives. It causes them to have low self esteem, depression, or even committ suicide. Those who bully must have either a hard life or have low self esteem so they put down others to feel greater. There are different forms of bullying, you can verbal or physical abuse, r even cyber bullying. Cyber bullying is where they harass the person over the internet or through the phone. I feel like if people see or hear of someone going through this they should alert someone, because bullying can go to far and something serious can happen. Bullying has been going on for awhile now and steps to control it or help the situation haven't been taken as seriously. This issue needs to be handle because many kids have caused suicide from being through all of the bullying. So my word of advise to help end such a problem is help stop the situation, step in and stick up for the person who is being picked on, or tell someone that this person has been picking on students starting stuff. Raise your voice and make a difference because no one deserves to live there life in fear, or feel ashamed of who they are. We are all individuals and no one is greater, or has the right to feel inferior to others.

Peter King's hearings on radical Islam
Okay, so i completely understand the whole home security , and worry about the terrorism, but i do not agree with Mr. Kings theory. Not EVERY Islamic person is here in regards to terrorism. By asking Muslims to go to hearings is not okay. I would find that extremely offensive. I feel like you only accuse people who are worthly of being accused. If there is SOLID evidence, not just because they are Muslim.
Monogamy
In todays society monogamy is more common, especially for teenagers. Most teenagers are already having sex, and it is possible with more then one person. They don't realize the meaning behind having sex, or the consequences that come along with taking such a big step. That's why most girls mow a days are getting pregnant. Having sex with someone should be with someone you LOVE. It should be with that one person...not more then one. Going to high school you see a lot. Some girls/ guys have sex because they have low self confidence and just give it up easy. Guys on the other hand feel like "the man" when they have sex, and with a lot of girls. Most people just do it to have fun. Personally i feel like people should think about it, and wait until they are actually ready. Don't get me wrong though, some people wait because of religion or there own personal reasons, and for that i applaud them because they go about such a situation maturely. They think about it rather then just go along with hormones.

SHAKE MY HEAD- CRAZY LOCAL NEWS
Going through some more articles i happen to come across the craziest article I've read so far. A man beat a women into a coma over a parking space! you have got to be kidding me. What has the world come to?
An article said little information. All it said was he beat her into a coma due to a parking space and that she threw the first punch. So i decided to futher read into this and i came across more information. He claims that she was standing in a parking spot she was saving for her boyfriend and she refused to move for the man. An argument followed and Rosa (the victum) was left laying on the floor with bloor coming out of her mouth. Fuller (attacker) sped off after she fell to sloor, but witnesses were able to take down his plate number. Rosa was meeting her boyfriend for dinner and was saving the parking space, and then Fuller came, he did admit to punching her in the face but that was only AFTER she threw the first punch. Fullers lawyer claimed that he acted in "instinct" rather then intent. Fuller was released for 100,00 bail and charged with assult to the second degree. Previous police records start fuller has been arrested for assualt and drug charges.
Reflection-
Why would you hit someone over a parking space? The problem with this situation is that the lady is in a coma so her side of the story isn't able to be heard. The man needs to suffer more then just a simple bail. If the lady does not recover from the coma he should serve jail time..

National News!- "East Coast Rapist"
http://www.cnn.com/2011/CRIME/03/07/connecticut.east.coast.rapist/index.html
News report says that a man accused of being the "east coast rapist" spoke to the authorities and stated," What took you so long to get me?"...Let me start off this blog by saying, how can someone just come out their face saying something like that. What they did was not okay, and he is simply just joking about it. like SHAKE MY HEAD.
Aaron Thomas, age 39, is suspected to be linked to 17 women assaults in the following states: Maryland, Connecticut, Virginia, and Rhode Island (between 1997 and 2009). Police had finally gathered enough evidence by keeping Thomas under survailance. Thomas was smoking a ciggirett outside of a court house and when he threw the bud, police gathered it. The DNA on the ciggarette linked to the assaults. He was accused of raping someone in front of her one year old child, threatening to kill her if she didn't cooperate. Many other situation arrose with similar accusastions What helped the case, was when Thomas confessed to the first accusation of Maryland. Thomas was arrested. A little while later Thomas tried to hang himself in the cell. He was taken to New Haven Hopsital for evaluation. He was not injured but when placed back in his cell he was on suicide watch.
Reflection-
It's crazy what go through peoples heads. I wonder what would cause someone to committ so many assaults. Especially having someone at gun point. How could you want to hurt an innocent bistandard? Also i wish the police caught him sooner rather then almost 10 years prior, causing there to more victims to his terrible crime.

lybia tragedy ...
Do you ever listen to the news going on around the world rather then just locally? If not, i'm going to fill you in. There is a great deal of violence going on in Lybia. The poeple of lybia were beggining to get tired of conditions there and having a ruler. Thus they began to revolt against their ruler in hopes to over throw him. Their ruler is outraged and rather then just giving up his position he is killing his own people just to remain as leader. If he really cared for his people he would not kill them , he would just step down and do whats best for them. He stated that if they UN or anyone get involved more people will die. A report said that students at a university were taken hostage and used as shields if attacked. Read more about this on www.bbc.com
i began researching about this more, and went to nytimes.com
There was more detail into the events occurring in Libya. Governments forces began to interfere with the conditions going on in Libya, the had an air borne attack in the coastal town of Ras Lanuf. Rebels begin to fall back after troops loyal to Muammar al- Qaddafi began to attack with tanks, helicopters, and fighter planes. A second day of attack had began to the rebel city of Zawiyah. The rebels gained control of of the oil port in Ras Lanuf. At least 35 people were killed in Zawiyah. This site has a ton of detail from when it began. If you want to research more go to www.nytimes.com
Reflection-
What puzzles me, is how much war goes on in the world. How can someone who wants to be the leader of their country, an "inspiration", do so much harm to his people just to stay in power? People now-a-days are so greedy for wealth,power,control..ect, that they lose sight of the real purpose they began doing what they're doing. Personally, i feel as though people should remain truthful to themselves, and keep to their word, which is to benefit those who you are trying to help, not just themselves. Hopefully the UN or NATO will get involved soon to help end the bloodshed occurring in Libya. NO one deserves to go through whats happening there. Help the children.

Mixed Signals...
Girls, i know you will be able to relate to this blog. You know when you start talking to someone and you begin to develope so many feelings for them. You end up being like, dang i really like him..but does he feel me the way i'm feeling him? So you wait, and wait, and wait. Then begin to wonder whats going on with us. Don't you just wish boys could be straight up about how they feel about you rather then beat around the bush? They should be straight up and either be like will you go out with me, or just be like i look at you likea friend.
I honestly don't get what goes through guys head. They could be talking to a really good girl and everything can be going great, then stop talking to them for a "pop" its crazy. GUys should just suck it up and realize that what they have is more then good enough, because before they know it they could be gone in the blink of an eye. Relationships aren't always about sex, you should have a connection with someone and just enjoy being with them.

Media influence
Do you think/believe that songs have an influence on teenagers? There are songs that we listen to talking about sex and drugs, making them seem as though they are SO good, that there are no faults. Maybe that is why teens now-a-days are all about having sex and getting high. It's not only songs that have a toll on us, its any type of media, such as television. Movies and shows talk a lot about drugs and sex. Some even showing people getting high or having sex. I feel as though teenagers see it on tv and are like "oh word? that looks fun" Maybe they should try and cut back on how they show off such things. i feel as though it would reduce the amount of drug influence on teens that cause their lives to go downhill. Rather then making getting high look "fun" they should show what happens to those who waste their lives on getting high and drunk, rather then staying in school and doing work. Life isn't all fun, theres a time to grow up. Movies and music don't help the cause. Teens need to realize it may seem like fun now, but later in life you will regret it and be like" d@m**, i wish i would have went to college..or even did better in highschool."

Confused.
You know what i hate. when you begin talking to someone, and you start developing feelings for that person, hooping that they are feeling the same way about you. Then all of sudden things change. I know that it only hasn't happened to me, readers you know what i'm talking about right? Don't you just wish you could go thru their mind just to see what their thinking? It sucks when you begin to like someone and they sa ythe same back then you wake up the next day thinking everything is perfect and finally things are working out for you. Finally when you arrive to school all happy you see a change. Word of advise, if you like someone and want it to go somehwere, don't push them away because your scared. Even if your not scared, don't treat them differently because you fell like, oh i aready know theylike me and i have them so whats the point of trying. No. Thats not how it works. It's an equal thing. Yeah you may just be talking to them but say i'm making a ton of effort the other person should be making the same amount of effort.
I feel like guys take advantage of girls. Like girls do have emotions and confusing them isn't any help. It honestly makes the situation more confusing, and hard. Its plain and simple, if you like someone and that person likes you, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Don't use any type of excuse because you could end up pushing that person away. Don't ruin something that could be so good. The one you want the most could be so good for you, you never know what you have untill its gone. So don't take advantage of them. It bothers me so much. I see this so much throughout highschool. Guys think their the "man" and the girls end up getting hurt. HOnestly, like NO, your not the man. It just makes you look like a a**whole, and no other girl is going to want you after seeing what you did to the last girl. Don't you just wish some guys could just grow up already?Just so you dont have to deal with the childish games anymore. They're no fun. So people just want a boyfriend/girlfriend that's able to handle a relationship. Maybe that'll occur out of highschool. Ugh. i can't wait to get out of highschool already. Just so for once, i could deal with matures boys, not little kids. Good luck to all the teenage girls, if you got a good boy friend hold on to them and for the single girls...find one thats worth your time not one that will waste your time.

Good luck to all the teenage girls, if you got a good boy friend hold on to them and for the single girls...find one thats worth your time not one that will waste your time.

Sarah Michelles blog- While looking over her blog i enjoyed reading about her perspective on relationships and i also enjoyed reading a poem she created. It was very good.
Shanice Davy blog- She offers good advice. One blog i rad of hers that i enjoyed very much was how to be a friend. Many people should read it so they learn what it truly means to be a good friend.

Tuesdae Imperial's blog- I enjoyed reading this blog because topics we about stuff on television. Some were about shows from way back when. They bought back the oldies.:)
Madhu Sharma- This blog was different from others because they wrote about different places all over the world. It was really interesting to learn of places you may not have heard of. They pictures were great.
Andray Bramwell's blog- This was a sports related blog. It was good to catch up on what i may have missed in a previous game.
Amina Zafar- My favorite post of hers was the one of a handicaped man being saved after falling onto the subway tracks. If only people in this world were as kind and brave as others.
Anthony Persaud- I learned about stuff I didn't know about. If only the blog was a little bit more interesting.

Favorite Blog
While looking at my classmates blogs i read one that really caught my eye. The blog was Tiffany Evans' blog. Reading her blogs were very interesting. She wrote as if she was speaking to the reader. She tried to relate her blog with everyday life problems or situations, even stuff people were interested in reading about such as horoscopes. She created her blog with the interests of others in mind. She did not use the blog as if it was a diary. One thing i liked the most about her blog was the quotes she had. I loved how she used quotes that went along with her blog and ones that really meant something. So her blog was by far my favorite. (:

Amina Zafar's blog
Today i read about a story of how a handicaped man was saved just in time from subway tracks on Amina's blog. A handicapped man went to pick up his bible from the floor and accidently hit the throttle button on the chair causing his to fall onto the subway tracks. The man had been through a lot of medical problems and never thought that he was going to die from a train. Thank god som MBTA worker jumped down and saved him just in time. The handicaped man is truly greatful.

Shanice Davy
I looked over shanice davy's blog today, and it really caught my eye. I enoyed reading one of her posts about being a good friend. I believe people should really read that blog because now a days it's hard to find a good friend. Being in high school it's hard to trust many people. So you nedd that one friend that can catch you when your falling. That you can vent to when the world seems like its coming crashing down on you. If you try trusting someone it could end up being thrown in your face because you could tell them something then five mintues later the whole school knows. So hopefully will read that post and learn what the true meaning of a GOOD friend is.

Jessica's blog :)
Today i went and looked at jessicas blog. I read about situation with boys she faced. I can relate to her so much. Guys are confusing. We end up falling for them and when we fall, we fall hard. When they want to end things or simply say let's take a "break". It makes no sense. Why tell me you love me, if your just going to break my heart. If you really loved someone, you wouldn't end things in the blink of an eye. When the going gets hard don;t push me away or end things if somethings bothering you. SPEAK UP! its not that hard. Reading her blog made me think back to that same situation i was faced. I just shake my head at guys and their stupidity. Then, when they go on to the next girl it KILLS. i agree with her when she said guys now a days end up with girls with their looks and how they dress, rather then who they are and their personality. It sucks. But what ever. guess we got to keep searching for the right one rather then the dumb ones:)

Blogs-
Junior year is scary. That's when we all have to focus and figure out what we want to do with our lives, what college we want to go to, and if our grades our good enough to go to our college of choice. Remmber middle school? Those were the days. You could have fun and not have to worry about what you want to do with your future, free to be a kid. Now that we are between 16 and 17 years old we get a job for money, we drive, go to school, and try to do our best.
Trying to find the right college is slighty hard. Its hard to figure out what we want to major in. Also we need to find a college where our GPA reaches their requirements. SO much stress in high school. Personally i want to go to a great college and graduate with a dr degreee. I think students shouldn't wait till last minute to worry about their grades. You never know what colleges look at. Try and have community service and a job or even some extra curricular activites for your application. It may be great help. Good luck all juniors!

blogs
Top 5 best blogs-
1) Fights ; written on January 6, 2011
-The blog Fights is about how basically talking about fighting and if it is truly worth it. What the benefits and consequenses are of fighting. I decided to write about fighting because coming from a school where there are fights everyday, I found the need to really think about fighting, and vent about them.
2) Teenage Love ; written on January 13, 2011
-Teenage love is a complicated thing. Throughout high school we deal with relationships and strong emotions. Writing about this topic was interesting because it was related to my life and I enjoyed to write about it.
3) Miracles are possible ; written on January 14, 2011
-Writing about this was a good way to let things out. Now I see why people write, it’s because it is a good way to let things out. Two days after I wrote this was the year anniversary of my fathers death.
4) Parents ; written January 20, 2011
- Parents are a complicated but no matter what we love them, and they do what they do for a reason. It’s not to just annoy us or treat us like kids. So I felt that I should explain it and have everyone listen to a point of view.
5) Junior year ; written January 10, 2011
-Thinking about starting college and your life with out relying on your parents as much is scary. So blogging about junior year and getting your high school life in order was a good idea. Hopefully other teens that read it will realize they need to get their act together and work harder.
My biggest strength as a blogger is picking a topic and writing about it as if I was speaking directly to you . I try and keep the readers pulled in and entertained. My weaknesses as a writer is going on and on about the same thing. I need to work on that by sticking on to one topic and try to not have run on sentences. Also for my blog I would like to have in based on one general topic with the mini topics relating to it. My blogs demonstrate me as an individual. A person that takes stuff seriously and wants others to realize what they have and what the shouldn’t take advantage of.

When is something taken too far?
You know when you see something on TV and think: oh thats not possible like someone would ever do something like that? Students from a school that will remain unnamed were in a local Wendys starting a fight. An employee there tried to break end all of it and kick them out of the establishment. Students were yelling at her and threw stuff at her. The employee began to get upset and flipped off the students, and cursed at the. Untill someone said the cops were coming they kept going. Once someone said the cops were coming ALL the students began to run out of the establishment, a girl came out and pushed the employee. The employee then shoved the girl back. Thus they started hitting and fighting. More girls joined in and began hitting the employee. A huge fight broke out. So far on knows if anyone was arrested. There is a video up of the fight if you wish to see it. Go to the website worldstarhiphop.com

Music.
Life without music, would be so boring. At least i think so. Songs keep us so entertained. Even with out words we find ways to use it. Music shows differentiality with different cultures, and life styles. Spanish music is amazing. With or with out words you can dance to it. They have all different types of dances for music. Then theres lhip hop and ect. With the words we create dances, even if the dances are wierd. Like the dougie, or jerk, or even the reject. Everyone does the dance or knows of it. Personally, i'm jealous of the artists because they're so famous for doing something they love. LUCKY! Teens without music would be wierd! Honetsly, music is my life. There'ssongs out there they quote my life story. Especially with girls. We find a way to somehow find a song thatfits our life that very moment. Guys can too, like if girls are bugging them, theres a song for that too. Some good artists are; Trey Songz, Ne-Yo, Alicia Keys, Rihanna, and more. If your ever in a certain mood, put some head phones on or blast your radio and zone everyone out! It helps :)

Parents.
Ugh. Where do you begin when talking about parents. You have to love them, but i know parents get all teenagers nerves. Is it because we're getting older and don't really want to listen to what the have to say? Or simply because they are over protective and still treat us like we are 4 years old? Honestly, no one really knows, but from both perspectives it makes sense. Parents never want to accept the fact that their kids are growing up, so they tend to hold on to the more strict ways. Let us learn from our mistakes. it'll help us in the real world, because we are not always going to have them around to help us and tell us from right from wrong. Don't think we don't love you guys, but there is a line where the suffication of "being concerned" should end.
Teens we love not listening to our parents. Not because they tell us one thing and we WANT to do the opposite, but because we feel that they are wrong and they have no idea what the are talking about. Half the time we are right, but is it worth arguing over and being grounded? No, not at all. We argue to get a point across. Sometimes parents understand other times it just goes right over their heads. So arguing doesn't really help. I would rather not agrue then argue and get grounded and my phone taken away. So maybe we should take a deep breath before we argue with them. Now readers, don't think im taking parents side here because i most certainly am not. I'm just trying to get your attention and hopefully it will get through to you guys and help you out in the future. Because when we get grounded that's when we want to rebel because we are upset. Sadly rebeling doesnt solve anything. Why cant parents be more cool and just try and understand. We will never know.

Miracles ARE possible.
So today I'm going to change up my blog today. I want to share something with you guys so you can believe that when things go terrible, that there still is some hope. I call this a miracle. Growing up life is hard, i can't deny that. Due to that fact i was always greatful of the things I had. Yeah, I'm just like every teenager, i argue with my parents but i love them, unconditionally. January of 2010, was when my life went crashing down. My dad was hit by a car, left with severe head trauma. We prayed and prayed that he would be okay. In the end, my dad spent a week in the hospital, and passed from all of the injuries. I know what your thinking, how could a miracle occur from that? Well about two weeks after we buried my dad, we found out my mother was 2 months pregnant. My parents had wanted another child for SO long and have tried but where unable to. Finding out my mom was pregnant was truly a blessing. Something was taken from us, but we were left with a precious gift. I'm not sure if you guys believe this is a miracle ,but I do. September of 2010 my precious baby sister was born healthy and looking so much like my father. I love her with all my heart, but still miss my father.
Your probably wondering why I'm sharing this story with you. Well, it's simply because i go to school everyday and see so many people go through terrible things and just give up on life. They believe it can't get any better, so why bother? I believe other wise. Yeah life seems terrible and you may think theres NO way it can turn around. I wanted to share my story so that teenagers can see that there is that possibility of things turning around from that "hellish" point. So please don't give up yet. I was going to do the same, till we recieved the news. Keep your head held up and don't let the missories drag you down. Your future is yours.

Teenage love
Lets face it. Do we,(teenagers), really know what "love" is? We arely know how to get a job, let alone fall is love with someone. Is love whwn you get that butterfly feeling everytime you're around that person? Is it when you feel like everything is perfect, thta no moment could be better when your with them? Truth is us teens say we love one another after we have been dating for awhile. do we really mean the words we speak? Is it love or lust? These questions seem to remain unanswered for us. Okay, so maybe some teenagers may be "in love" with their boyfriend or girlfriend, but personally I do not know whether or not i do. Don't get me wrong though, i may have a lot of feelings for someone, but I'm not sure iff i could just say it. I love you. It's scary. Well to me its scary.
I feel like if i tell someone i love them, i have to reall mean it. Like REALLY mean it. It't some word you can just throw around. The expression, "you wear you heart on your sleeve", is so true. Some girls do that exact thing and when they open up and tell their boyfriend they love them and they start saying it untill one day its over. The girl is left heartbroken. Thinking she actually loved him. Yeah this is just my opinion but i see this happen all the time in highschool. It's crazy. I feel terrible. That exact things scares me. Do i really want to be left heartbroken after opening up to the one i supposeably "loved"? Pesronally half the time love is actually lust in teenage situations. In high school we go from one boyfriend to another(unless you have actually found that one person you tuly want to be with throughout highschool.) I'm just like those girls though. From experiance i say, Girls, don't fall for that one person too hard because you never know what the future would lead to. Enjoy your high school lives. For when the real world comes you want to be prepared. Guys come and go. So don't let stuff get in your way of your future, and your goals. Goodluck :)
Then again i dont really follow my own advice to be giving you guys any, but still try as i will do the same. Let me know how it works out for you guys.
This is a great movie as an example of true teenage love :)

Snowing out, but still in school?
Its aproximately 1:15, and it's snowing outside. Being in school while it is snowing like crazy is no fun. Although snow is very pretty to look at, it is also so cold. Especially since we take the city buses home from school. We all have to walk home from where ever we have to get off the bus at. It's too cold. By time we all get home we are icycles. Personally i believe if the forcast calls for a lot of snow, schools should not be open. Riding buses home in while its snowing is dangerous.City buses especially because they're are alot of students that take the bus, and not enough seats. Hey, price of living in the empire state. New York has a huge population. Some students didn't come to school because of the snow, but i would rather come to school and get credit then skip just because of the snow. It's hard work trying to make up absent work. Other people have different opinions. I can't really complain though, at least it's friday. I can not wait till schools out. Hot chocolate and shopping with friends to pass time. Enjoy your weekends.:)

Fights.
Fighting. What's the point of it? There really isn't a point of fighting, especially in school. By fighting, i mean full on physical contact fighting. Okay so you hit someone you have problems with, but does it really resolve anything? No. All it does is cause more problems if one person "wins" the other person is going to want revenge and fight again. So there is always going to be constant "beef". It causes more problems not only with you, but your friends are going to want to be there and have your back. So then you have like a group brawl. Does that solve anything? No, no it does not. When you fight in school it is even worse. You get caught for fighting, and then get suspened. Is that something people really want? Yeah okay, you get a few days off from school, but you still got to make up the work you missed and then the supsension is on your record. If you want to go to college i'm pretty sure colleges aren't going to want someone who gets in fights. Maybe because i's high school and teenagers will be teenagers. Will people grow up once college hits? Or will it be a reoccuring thing throughout their lifes? Personally i say people ignore what others say and continue on with your lives and worry about your future and the REAL friends you have. People can say what they want but its up to you to let them think whether or not that they got to you. Personally i would rather not fight someone, but that's just me. See with boys there's really no talking. It's yell yell yell till someone throws the first punch. Then it's on. With girls, they confront. They'll argue untill the problem is resolved. Don't get me wrong though, there are some girl that do like to slap or pull someones hair. Girls confront the situation then leave it alone. Don't cross the person in a wrong way again and there won't be any more problems. So once again. Why fight? Live life to it's fullest don't worry about the so called haters.

Long Island bondies overveiwed
I have read many articles abou this story. Each day there was either valueable information added or just a recap on what we already know from reading previous articles the day before. A story like this does not just end. Writers continue to write about it because it is an intense story and continues to pull readers in to want to read and know more information. Especially if it's occuring in a town/place near them. Although sometimes the articles may not be completely different they still gain some information or changes. Articles have "legs" because they can continue and continue based on what the story is about. Whoever is covering the story on the 4 bodies found in Long Island, is doing a good job of keeping readers tied in to this story.
Blast from the past:1961 fun facts:)
It's rather interesting learning about events that occured before i was born. I'm researching events that happened in 1961. No, not boring like historic things, but more fun interesting things that would appeal to the teenage readers. So, here is some things i found out: 1)Frito chips were introduced. 2)electric tooth brushes were invented. Some movies that were popular were West Side Story and The Hustler. Music during that time were "Blue Moon", "Will You Love Me Tomorow" and "Moon River". Sports wise, the Yankees beat Cincinati,4-1. It's also amazing how much fashion has changed over time. In the 60's outfits were more relaxed. Women wore rarely wore straight cut outfits. More bias and diagnal cut outfits were worn. No padded shoulders were worn. (thank godness) Posture was tall and willow.
Now in the 2000's girls wear jeans and tshirts. Leggings from the 80's have come back. Many girls began to wear them, all different colors and designs. "jeggings" were invented. Jeggings are a combination of jeans and leggings. They are leggings that look like jeans but are confortable like leggings.
