In today's papers, radio, and news shows you have some type of violence going on around the world. Not just between country to country , but life violence going on in your own neighborhood. It's crazy how many lives are lost over time, FOR THE STUPIDEST REASONS! One thing i really do not like is how a male from every family has to sign up to be drafted into the force. That is someone's son, brother, husband going into war for a random reason. The United States tend to get involved in other countries affairs. Don't get me wrong i understand the wish to help but how are able to help out other countries when ours is in need of help too, especially the economy. I don't understand how we pay / give money to help other countries who are in need of aid or assistance when we need it to. For example helping those in Africa who are sick and homeless. We have many homeless families in the United States living on the streets, in dyer need for food or shelter. It's not only adults though, there are many children suffering. Loss of parents, or who are terrible sick. We are able to go out and help the countries around us but what about our own people? I'm not a heartless person, i do feel for those who need aid but i feel as though we should show some effort in our own country.
Also the violence going on is terrible. This is why many children suffer, for being exposed to all the violent and terrible things around us. Teens fighting other teens. Forming gangs as a way of a "family". They gain control of weapons and feel a sense of power. People getting killed everyday because of all the HATE going on. In reality how much do you know about that person to hate them enough to kill, rape, or abuse? Is it worth taking someones life for your own special reasons. Then you have to face a jail sentence IF or WHEN they get caught. Is it worth throwing your life away for taking someone Else's? These are questions that constantly go throw my head when i read , or hear of such terrible things that are going on. Sometimes i wish people would think before they act. So many lives would be saved, and less tears in the world would be shed. One day, if possible, we can live in a less violent nation/world. My heart goes out to those with family members in the force and those who are enduring the hardships in Libya right now.
