Going through such a tragedy is extrememly hard. The people of Japan have lost more then just their homes. Most of the elderly are going through a lot. Many are sick and are in need of their medicine. All they are able to do is be there for one another. The elderly are more seceptable to disease. Many left with out shelter, food , water, electricity, ect. Many of the elderly depend on certain things for their survival, such as breathing machines, medines < foods. It's hard to get that back with such things occuring around them. Also, how at their age are they able rebuild their homes? It is very hard for them to do such a thing.
The rate of deaths in japan are over 18,000 and STILL rising. The costs of the damage down is estimated to be around 235 billion dollars. Not only did Japan face the natural disaster of the tsunami , but also a nuclear power plant explosion occurred leaving toxic radiation going around,Which is extremely dangerous.
