Movies, Movies, Movies

When going to the movies you always want to see the right movie, because you don't want to waste your money/ time on a movie you will end up not liking. If you plan to take a fun day out with the kids, you  may  be faced with the dilemma of seeing either Kung Fo Panda or Judy Moody and the NOT Bummer Summer.  Critics did not take a like to the Judy Moody movie.  they said that kids could have got the same entertainment for a cable network TV show, so going to see that movie would be pointless and a waste of money. Although Kung Fu Panda movie is the sequel to the original many believe sequels ruin the originals, but in this case many liked this movie. The action packed scenes and character depiction made the movie rather entertaining and enjoyable for people of all ages. So when planning your next trip to the movies, I highly recommend seeing Kung Fu Panda. A must see for the summer!! (:

Experience of a Lifetime!

This past week, has had to be one of the most fun filled weeks of my life. A recent trip to Waikiki, Hawaii with the family had us nonstop entertained with never a dull moment to be embraced. We rented the north shore beach house were we could have had at least up to 10 people stay there! There was never a time where we said there was nothing to do. We enjoyed the beautiful North Shore beach, where the sand was gorgeous and rich, and the water a clear blue. Then enjoyed the wonderful aquatic life, and went scuba diving. A adventure for the whole family to enjoy! For dinner we enjoyed a lovely meal in the Pineapple Room in where everything was very inviting with selections of food from burgers to seafood! The waitress' were very polite. The activities where fun filled! We enjoyed the Waikiki festival Hoolaulea, where we learned that Hoolaulea means festival, a gathering of celebration. We saw a bunch of performances such as Japanese Taiko drums, Korean dance, Hawaiian music, hula, and much more! I highly recommend this trip to any family who wishes to enjoy a relaxing time in a warm environment, and just get away from everything!

AMAZING. That is one word that can't even fully describe the trip i just took to Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. I spent a fabulous week at the lovely resort Gran Melia where my days and nights were never dull. This resort if perfect for either a family vacation, honey moon, or even just a trip to get away from everything and enjoy some personal time. Gran Melia has a countless activities for you and even the children! Enjoy a relaxing day at the spa, while the kids go to the kids club, play board games, or enjoy some sports. For the lovers there are dance classes where they teach salsa and merengue, there are also nights bars, and lounges to enjoy a lovely night out.  When it comes to the food, its delicious, nothing like american food. Pasion, by chef Myrta is known to be the BEST puertorican food around. The food taste like it is homemade. While on vacation there me and my family went sight seeing.

From going from a tropical place, to more of a fast pace place for a vacation really set us back. When staying in a country you are not familiar in is hard. But when a trip to Tokyo Japan was taken, staying in Anu Hotel Narita, made the stay very welcoming and fun.The only tough part was the time change, but it made the trip that much more interesting! Anu Narita is very modern and the service is very warm and friendly! Although you need to pay in advance and book your stay just to guarantee your stay! While in Japan you learn and embrace their different foods and culture. A great little restaurant that is highly recommended is  Tempura Fukushima. The food is very tasteful and they get fresh vegetables and seafood everyday. One dish tried there that was rather good was Kobashira-kakiage (small scallops) and Vegetables,Salad and Dessert.  The dish was rather good, it wasn't made like how it is made back i n the United Sates. One Its fun to try and get away and learn about the different things around the world.  There are many attractions to go visit. If you have the family you can take a visit to the Science Museum where the kids will enjoy many activities to do. A vacation is a special time, so don't do any plain boring thing, make it special and go somewhere outstanding and different.

Mouthwatering food in the best restaurant: Elenas

Going to Elenas will be not only be a  fun evening to dine out, but a delicious treat. They have the best Spanish food around. Out of all places to go ,Elenas is by far the best with an inviting atmosphere, friendly people, and not only fresh but delicious food.
All time favorite dish that is always served the same, DELICIOUS, every time is Arroz con Bitec y maldudos ( rice, steak and plantains.)
The steak is well seasoned to perfection along side of a plate of arro con habichuelas( rice and beans )
Rice is also very appetizing. It is not over cooked nor undercooked, just to the right consistency with the tender deans mixed in.
Other delicious dishes to try:

  • Arroz con pollo( Rica and chicken)
  • Tostones  ( pressed fired plantans)
  • bacalao ensalada y arroz blanco( Bacalao with white rice)
  • Mondongo ( spanish soup (: )
I highly reccomend this restaurant for those who love spanish food or wish to try it. Enjoy a nice night out with the family or even just for the adult nights out. 8948 Francis Lewis Boulevard NY 11427-2246  Call and get it delivered! (718) 468-450

    Love.

You ever love some one so much, it hurts? You would give them your all and in the end it still isn't enough. You question yourself constantly about what you are doing wrong, but in the end the truth is, it's not what you are doing wrong, it's what the other isn't appreciating.  Trying and trying to fix something over and over again that most likely not even meant to be fixed the first time. Life throws crazy things at you, its your decision whether to move on or let it slide. In the end your blinded by love. You look past the faults on focus on the amazing. AT the time everything is perfect and all you want to do is live in the moment. Words tend to be said that take your breath away, and all you can do smile and embrace every word that is said. But, how much of what is said is true? Are all the words lies? "No matter the distance, I will always love you and you are my world." What happened to those promises? what happened to those words said that made me feel as though you were the one? Everyone tends to fall for the same lies, hoping that in the end its the truth and every word said was deep from the heart.
Maybe the words were the truth...at the time. The only question that lyes is, What changed? I will always be there for you but theres so much my heart can take. I thought  i could have spent my life with you. You were there through the amazings moments and the most troubling obsticles that most people turned their backs on me on. How can you throw something like that away? So many questions but not ONE is ever answered. That, that is what kills me the most.

    Blog Views.

Shayaa Abdus Samad- Viewing this bog was interesting. The topics were good but the way it was written was to realistic. Use less voice and more of correct grammar and punctuation.

Bibi Badriden- Strong topics. I enjoyed reading it. Maybe if the posts had more detail it would be VERY good (:

Fatima Baines- This was pretty much like a diary, try to connect more with the readers.

Denzel Barrett- No recent blogs were up. I was unable to rate the blog.

Andray Bramwell- This blog was very interesting. I liked the topics a lot. Make post longer (:

Claribel Checo- I loved the look and all of the pictures. There was a good attempt to connect with readers, but still seemed like a diary at times.

Clarissa Checo- This blog was one of my favorites. Reading the posts made me want to keep reading the rest. It was like any other teenage blog but kept the readers attention. The pictures went really well with the blog.

Amber Clarke- Only one blog was up, but you can tell there was a great deal of potential in the post. Keep up with the posts.

    Chavaughn Cox-No recent posts.

Tashawna Dallas-This blog connected with readers and gave good advice.

Shanice Davy- Blog was also helpful to teenagers going through stressful school stuff or even everyday life.

Ruthnie Degand- Connected with readers very well. Take more time to go into detail with topics.

Tiffany Evans-Keeps up with recent events. Careful with grammar though. I liked this blog, interesting to look at. (Especially since theres a picture of Chris Brown ) (:  *thumbs up* (:

Tierra Green- Goes into a great deal of effort with certain topics, which makes the blog interesting to read!

Tuesdae Imperial- Effort is made with detail for posts. If there was more pictures, the blog would be really good.

Jessica Lopez-Love this blog. Theres all all different types of topics. I can really relate to Jessica's blog, especially when it comes to relationship drama.

Sara Michele Louis- The blog topics are really good. I see advice being given but sometimes it flows of to be a diary. Carefullll(:

Shanice Lynch- NO recent blogs. But from reading what you have written previously, it seems like you update it to be like your life. Try not to focus on only you, try and bring topics that could relate to the readers. Ask questions that might have people puzzled.

Adale Matthews- Enjoy reading the poems on this blog. I like how its on many various topics, not just focused to certain topics only males/females can relate to.

Natural Parker- Enjoy how you speak to the readers by using your own voice and keeping it  grammatically correct at the same time. You great topics is really good. (: Try to make the posts a little longer.

Chavonne Parkes- Your blog is a lot of fun to look at, with the color and all the pictures. There is a lot of information on latest fashions which is really good.

Anthony Persaud- You blog is very informative with technology and other stuiff, but try to use topics that others would want to read too. Keep it a little more fun.

Katerine Ramirez- You have a good personality, use t in your blogs, but make it less like a journal. Although people may connect with the "journal entries" talk as if with the reader rather then informing them on your life.

Danielle Satz- This blog is too much like a diary. Not everyone wants to read about your current events going on in your life. Your topics are good just connect to readers.

Madhu Sharma- The pictures are really cool and interesting, try and write a little more though.

Dejon Spears-Sports is a great topic so your blogs on that are very interesting. Keep the blog updated with the games and latest news!

Jermain Trim-I really enjoyed this blog. It has different topics with the recent news. One blog i found interesting was the one about the women dumping the baby in trash. its terrible what the world has come to.  I could never imagine a mother doing such a terrible thing to a new born, no matter what the reason may be...

Amina Zafar- The blog is interesting, especially learning about the weddings in Pakistan. Continue updating your blog and writing a little more and this blog should be visited often. (:

    Stereotypes.

You know what really gets on my nerves? When all throughout high school people go "oh that girl is a pop she had sex with  this person and that person blah blah" but when a guy goes and has sex with multiple girls hes "the man" "he got game" "hes this, hes that" but never called nothing half as bad as what girls are. Since when is it okay for guys to go around and do that but its wrong for girls? Don't get me wrong though people shouldn't be doing that anyway ( especially since we are in high school. ) Even this, if girls are gay "oh that's so hot", "Owww"  but if a guy is gay, its "Ew thats nasty, don't come near me". That is wrong in so many ways. everyone is entitled to what they prefer and discriminating is WRONG. HELLOOO PEOPLEEEEE !! We are in the 21st century grow up and learn that everyones decisions are what they want, and live with it. Everyone is entitled to their opinions but a certain you need to know where to draw the line. Its time that everyone grows up because once we leave high school we are faced with the real world and there may be things in the real world we don't like but like most MATURE adults we suck it up and move on.

    Choices.

    When you make choices for you and your partner are they always the right one? Do you just go along with decisions made to make that person happy? Are you happy with those decisions made? These questions often come up when i sit back and look at the world. I sit back and look at others relationships and listen to peoples problems and can't help but ask them these questions. I often see that people make certain decisions just to make their partner happy. Doing that never help the situation because later on in the road will you eventually regret it. In life you never want to regret anything. Another thing that pops in my mind is that if you make decisions you don't like just for your partner, is that considered lying? Going with the flow? No one wants part of a relationship. It's either all or nothing. I'm sure if you give your honest opinion to your partner they would respect you more for being honest and truthful rather then lying. Lying causes consequences, some that might even take the worst toll. At the time it may seem right to say what would make them happy, but it won't in the end. So for those who just say things to make that special person happy, DON'T DO IT ANYMORE. NEVER be afraid to speak your mind. You are who you are and if your partner does not like that then they aren't meant for you because down the road you will find that special person who likes you for you. So speak up (;
