Military Expansion of raids in Pakistan
Senior commanders in Afganistan are planning for an expansion of raids across the border of Pakistan. This is a risky strategey to take due to the frustrating fact of Pakistans efforts to root out militants there. This could escalate military activities in Pakistan. The plan has not yet been approved but miltary and political leaders urge to take hold due to the deadline of Obamas administration to begin with drawing troops.

12/20/10 Update on bodies found on Long Island Beach
Forensic investigators are saying that the identity of the bodies is the utmost importance. They began to collect DNA sample from a family who is in search of Megan Watermen, who went missing from a hotel in June. Extracting DNA from the remains of the bodies found on the beach could take up to a month. While in the process of that cops are now going to expand their search. They did an all out search in looks of more bodies. There were more then a dozen Cavalar dogs searching the shore of the Long Island Beach to ensure that there were no more secrets lurking around the beach. They are going to increase the search among the communities. They do not want people to think there is another seriel killer( Jack the Ripper) out in the streets with a bloody knife. Hopefully they are able to gain more information soon.

Four bodies found in Long Island continued...
When first read about the bodies found in Long Island police had no idea who they were, who could have been the possible suspect of the murders, whether or not they were linked together to the same murderer. Now they have possiblites of who the girls could be. Yesterdays paper they believed that one girl could have been Shannon Gilbert, but today they ruled out that it couldn't be her. They say that one girl, was a New Jersey hooker but they now don't believe its her either. They interrogated Joseph Brewer. HIs house was raided and car was taken to be searcher thoroughly. Police are now back to square one, they have no idea who the bodies are and who could be linked to it. Hopefully soon they can gain more information that's of value.

Police belive it was prostitutes who met up with someone in a hotel off of craigslist. Thus the man slain and dumped their bodies along the island. Some people have some valueable information about seeing a girl. This info could really help them. Hopefully they catch the murderer. The writer of the article directed it towards the readers, to inform them of what was going on. Hopefully people will read the article and take caution in actions they will take in the future.
School bus crashes into a bank
Yesterday there was an acciedent in Manhattan. A school bus swirved off the road onto the sidewalk and crashed into a Bank of American. The kids inside the bus were safe and unharmed, but for precautions were sent to a hospital just to make sure. The bus driver was injured and sent to a hospital. The bus driver claims that someone hit him, but evidence believes otherwise. He lost lost control of the bus and seems as thought he may have passed out right before the bus crashed into the bank. Thankfully the kids were unharmed. Hopefully people will pay more attention when they are driving. Especially if they have lives of others in the their hands.

Pre show jitters
Being a cheerleader isn't easy. There is this show tonight called the winter festival. All the schools groups are going to preform. Walking around school in uniforms is scary. Okay, well maybe not scary, just makes people a little nervous. Perfoming in front of your whole school is very nerve wrecking. Walking around school just waiting for the moment to come gives me the chills. We all just pray that everything goes right. If not, then thats really embarassing. Next blog you will read, is how the show went. wish me luck!

Sports
espn.com Sports are exhausting. They always keep you busy. Sometimes it even takes up most of your life. Got to love sports thought, they keep you in shape and healthy. There are all different sports people play. Track, basketball, football, Cheerleading, Lacross, soccer and more. Some people don't consider cheerleading a sport, but i believe it's just as much of a sport as any other one. We work hard. We work out, go for runs, and sweat too. (which is kind of gross) Yeah we prance around a field and dance but being doors at closed practices we work hard for many hours. I enjoy participating in sports. They keep me busy and out of trouble. So instead of sitting on the couch watching tv, people should get out more and be active. Set good examples for young children and teens.

Holidays
Once again we are back to the busiest time of the year. Christmas time. Every one is running around trying to get presents for their family and loved ones. Once it gets closer to the day people are going to begin to look like chickens with their heads cut off. It's crazy. Spending all this money on everyone. Personally i'm happy just having all of my family together, but the presents is a plus. Hardest part is trying to find that perfect present for that someone you really care about. You never know what to get! The kids love this time. So many presents and all of the cookies. Oh and dont forget Santa! Many pitcures will be taken. For memories are always so precious. The true meaning of christmas is togetherness. Not presents. People should take a step back and realize its not how much money you spend that should make someone happy, its the fact that they are there with you and your family. Don't get me wrong though, what's christmas with out all the pretty decorations and presents and the yummy food. Don't forget about the cookies too. :) Be happy with what ever you get. That's what really matters.

Rumors.
High school is filled with the he said she said stuff. Yet, it takes people forever to realize that they're all RUMORS. Why do people continuously believe all of the stuff. It makes life easier if you just confront the situation head on. It makes me wonder..Will it stop out of high school? Or does it follow us even after we graduate? There really is no winning. People just have to keep their mouths shut and continue on with their lives with out all the drama. Maybe one day the world will see that there's no piont. Then again..I doubt that'll ever happen. Good luck to those and their problems.
Keeping your held up high.
Ever think that the world is over? That things could never be the same after something tragic has happened? Dealing with hard times is never easy, so giving up is never the right thing to do. Over coming those obsticles makes you a better person. It makes you stronger and more aware. Things could come at you so unexpectingly and you can just stand there dumb-founded, at a loss for words. Deal with things straight on. NEVER run away from problems because it only makes it worse and can eat at you with regret.
So before you give up, think about the positive things. Never negetive, athough it may seem terrible. Kepp your head held up high. In the end things will turn out not so terrible and things will fall back into place. Trust me. I know.

Winter
You got to love the snow! It's so pretty ring the holidays, and there are tons of stuff to do when it does. One thing i do not enjoy is the cold! I walk around in a big fluffy coat but my face and ears still freeze! so there's no winning. Another thing is shoveling driveways. Got to break my back for the safetey of others so no one gets hurt. Walking and taking the bus is going to kill me with all the cold. School is going to go by slow. I just want to get out of 8th period already.
